Mobile Station to Illinois and Florida 2026
The Consulate General of Algeria in New York is planning to dispatch mobile biometric stations to Illinois, and Florida at the beginning of April 2026, as follows:
• Chicago: 3rd, 4th and 5th April 2026
Location: Sonesta Chicago O’Hare Airport Rosemont
10233 W Higgins Rd, Rosemont, IL 60018
• Florida: 11th and 12th April 2026
The specific venue for Florida will be communicated later.
This initiative involves capturing photos and fingerprints for the biometric passport application process, which necessitates the physical presence of applicants aged 12 and above.
Algerian nationals registered at the Consulate General, whose passports have expired or will no longer be valid six months before the date of the mobile station, are urged to promptly submit the required documents by mail before the deadline on March 25th, 2026.
Please note that applications for Passport, Registration Renewal, and First Registration can be submitted simultaneously. The fingerprinting process will only proceed if the application has been previously sent to the Consulate General in New York.
We would like to emphasize that residents in neighboring states are also eligible to send their requests.
