The Consulate General of Algeria in New York is planning to dispatch mobile biometric stations to California, Texas, Illinois, and Florida at the beginning of October 2025, as follows:
• Los Angeles: 3rd and 4th October 2025
• San Francisco: 5th and 6th October 2025
• Houston: 7th, 8th, and 9th October 2025
• Chicago: 10th, 11th, and 12th October 2025
• Miami: 18th October 2025
• Tampa: 19th October 2025
The specific venue for each location will be communicated later.
This initiative involves capturing photos and fingerprints for the biometric passport application process, which necessitates the physical presence of applicants aged 12 and above.
Algerian nationals registered at the Consulate General, whose passports have expired or will no longer be valid six months before the date of the mobile station, are urged to promptly submit the required documents by mail before the deadline on September 20th, 2025.
Please note that applications for Passport, Registration Renewal, and First Registration can be submitted simultaneously. The fingerprinting process will only proceed if the application has been previously sent to the Consulate General in New York.
We would like to emphasize that residents in neighboring states are also eligible to send their requests.
