Meeting with the mayor of NYC

The Consulate General of Algeria in New York and its African counterparts were invited on March 5 to the Town Hall by The Honorable Mayor Eric L. ADAMS. The meeting covered the following topics: economic development, asylum seekers and immigrant services.

On this occasion, the representative of the Consul General offered to the Mayor a book collection of Algerian sites listed as UNESCO world heritage sites.

Also, this meeting was an opportunity to invite Mr. Adams to pay an official visit to Algeria, which was well received and accepted by the Mayor. Its date remains to be determined later by mutual agreement.
