ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, said Tuesday in Algiers that the National Conference on the recovery plan for a new economy is being held in a particular situation marked by the fall in hydrocarbon prices and the pandemic of the new coronavirus (Covid-19), which has strongly impacted economies around the world.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, President Tebboune, who said that Algeria is “on the verge of overcoming” this health crisis, paid a heartfelt tribute to the health staff, security and civil protection units for their “efforts and sacrifices.”
The national conference on the recovery plan for a new economy is being held in the presence of some 300 participants, including members of the government, social partners and independent personalities, including national experts living in Algeria and abroad.
