The Consulate General of Algeria would like to express its gratitude for the valuable contribution of our Community to the success of the celebration of Yennayer 2973, held on Saturday January 14, at the Consulate’s Headquarters.
The Algerian families who joined from different parts of the United States, shared delicious Yennayer related dishes and sweets in a friendly and festive atmosphere. This gathering was also an opportunity to enhance the richness and the diversity of our culture, tradition and customs.
The “Treize” and “Henna” ceremonies were a memorable moment for the kids and their parents.
Our sincere gratitude to the Community members who displayed traditional carpets, pottery, dresses and handicrafts.
