Sabria Boukadoum is a career diplomat , she joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1982. She worked on several desks and in embassies as well as an expert at the Commission on the Status of Women UNCSW and Representative of Algeria to UNICEF and the UN NGO’s Committee. She also served as member of the Cabinet of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2001-2002 and as Director of studies from 2003-2005.
She was National Coordinator of the Euro-Mediterranean process, Senior official of the Union for the Mediterranean UfM and the Board of Governors of the Anna Lindh Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures from 2014-2015. She assumed charge as Consul General of Algeria in New York on 2015.
She graduated in diplomacy from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration on 1982, Algiers. She holds a master’s degree in International Management.
She was born in 1959 and is married with two children. She is fluent in Arabic, French, English and Portuguese.
