MRS. SABRIA BOUKADOUM
CONSUL GENERAL OF ALGERIA IN NEW YORK
Sabria Boukadoum is a career diplomat, currently Consul General of Algeria in New York, a post she held since 2015.
She worked at high official positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassies as well as an expert at the Commission on the Status of Women UNCSW, Representative of Algeria to UNICEF and the UN NGO’s Committee. She also served as member of the Cabinet of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2001-2002 and as Director of studies from 2003-2005.
She was National Coordinator of the Euro-Med process, senior official of the Union for the Mediterranean UFM and the Board of Governors of the Anna Lindh Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures from 2014-2015.
She graduated in diplomacy from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration on 1982, Algiers. She holds a master’s degree in International Management.
She was born in 1959 and is married with two children. She is fluent in Arabic, French, English and Portuguese.
