Ambassador Bouguerra and Consul General Boukadoum host the members of the Algerian-American Foundation for Culture, Education, Science and Technology
On the 9th of December, 2017, Ambassador Madjid Bouguerra, and Consul General Sabria Boukadoum hosted in Washington, the Board Members of the Algerian-American Foundation for Culture, Education, Science and Technology (AAF), chaired by Dr. Taha Merghoub, to discuss the contribution of the Algerian scientists in the United States to the development of their home country, Algeria, in all fields such as high technology, scientific research, heath care, architecture, education, culture and desertification. The members of the AAF expressed the entire readiness of Algerian scientists in the United States, everyone in his fields, to benefit their country from their expertise and know-how, with concrete projects to achieve in cooperation with partners in Algeria. Ambassador Bouguerra and Consul General Boukadoum stated the need of Algeria to the added value of the Algerian scientists competences abroad and called on them to contribute their part to the development of the country. They expressed the entire disposal of the Algerian Embassy in Washington and the Consulate General in New York to do everything in their power to help and facilitate transform the ideas of the Algerian scientists living in the USA in concrete projects in Algeria.
