As part of the celebration of Africa Day, the Consulate General of Algeria in New York, on June 12, 2023, took part in a reception organized by the group of African Consuls General accredited in New York City at Community College in the Bronx.
On this occasion, participants emphasized the role that the African diaspora could play in the development process of the African continent, in particular through the transfer of know-how and direct investment.
Various artistic and culinary activities were also organized at this occasion and Representatives of the New York City local authorities also attended the event.

وبهذه المناسبة، أكد المشاركون على الدور المحوري الذي يمكن أن يلعبه المغتربون الأفارقة في المسيرة التنموية للقارة الأفريقية عن طريق نقل المعارف والتكنولوجيا والاستثمار المباشر
كما تم تنظيم على هامش حفل الاستقبال، العديد من الأنشطة الفنية ومعرض لفن الطبخ للدول المشاركة. وقد حضر هذه التظاهرة ممثلين عن السلطات المحلية لمدينة نيويورك
