On the occasion of the “International Day of Living together in Peace May- 16, 2018”, H.E President of the Republic Abdelaziz BOUTEFLIKA underlined the importance of this initiative that recognizes, officially, Algeria’s role in promoting peace, through his message.
As a reminder, this International Day was proclaimed on December 8, 2017 by the UN General Assembly, at the initiative of Algeria and will be celebrated every year on May 16. It aims to regularly mobilize the efforts of the international community to promote peace, tolerance, inclusion, understanding and solidarity.
Given the necessity of sharing these universal ideals, the Consulate General of Algeria in New York would like to extend its best wishes of peace and prosperity to all people aspiring to live in harmony and peaceful coexistence all around the world.
