Mrs. Sabria Boukadoum is the Consul general of Algeria in New York since 2015.
She is a graduate of the Ecole National d’administration ENA, Algiers, Diplomatic section in 1982 and holds a master’s degree in international Management, ESG Paris, 1999, Memory on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and its impact on Development in Ivory Coast, World Bank (IFC).
Mrs. Boukadoum, who joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) after graduation, is a career diplomat. She was successively Secretary of Foreign Affairs in charge of the English press (1982-1986), cultural Attache at the Embassy of Algeria in Budapest (1987-1988), Delegate to the third committee at the permanent mission of Algeria to the UN (1988-1992), head office FAO/UNIDO (1992-1994), head of the UNESCO office (1994-1996), consular at the Cabinet of the Deputy Minister (2001-2002).
She serves as a Director of Studies at the office of the advisor to the president of the Republic (2002-2005), as National Coordinator to the Union of Mediterranean UFM and the Board of the Governors of the Anna Lindh Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures FAL (2014-2015).
Mrs. Boukadoum, was expert at the Commission on the Status of Women CSW, UN 1996 and representative of Algeria to UNICEF and the NGO’s Committee, UN1988-1992. She has played an active role in the national and international efforts to build capacities on gender and social development.
Since 2012 until 2015, Mrs. Boukadoum was member of the Board of the National Organ of Prevention and Fight against Corruption.
Mrs BOUKADOUM is married and has Two Children.
